Every uploaded strategy follows the same sequence.

Each CSV is analysed individually.

The parser extracts the betting history and constructs a complete behavioural profile exactly as if the file had been evaluated on the Evaluate page.

At this stage every strategy receives its own:

• Composite Rating
• Behavioural Identity
• Stability profile
• Edge Reliability
• Followability
• Behavioural Consistency
• Market Timing
• Market Quality
• Structural Signals
• all other analytical outputs

These values are complete before any comparison begins.

Once every strategy has its own completed analysis, Compare organises those finished analytical profiles into a comparative framework.

This layer produces outputs that only make sense when multiple strategies exist simultaneously.

These are comparison products. They are built from existing analytical results rather than recalculating the underlying strategy.

The Overall Ranking provides the highest-level summary of every strategy included in the comparison.

Each strategy is ordered by its Composite Rating, which represents the engine's overall structural assessment after combining the major analytical dimensions.

The ranking is not based on:

• ROI
• Profit
• Win rate
• CLV alone
• any individual metric

Instead, it reflects the complete structural profile produced by the analytical engine.

A higher-ranked strategy demonstrates a stronger overall balance across the dimensions measured by BetMirror.

This does not mean the strategy is the best possible betting system.

It means that, among the uploaded strategies, it exhibits the strongest overall analytical profile according to the engine.

The confidence indicator describes how complete and reliable the comparison is.

It is based on the completeness of the uploaded betting histories rather than the quality of the strategies themselves.

A comparison with high completeness allows the engine to compare strategies across the full analytical framework.

Lower completeness does not necessarily indicate a weaker strategy. It simply means fewer analytical observations were available.

Not every strategy excels for the same reason. Some strategies demonstrate exceptional behavioural discipline. Others exhibit stronger execution quality. Others remain structurally more stable over time. The Dimension Winners section highlights the strongest performer within each analytical category. These awards are independent. Winning one category does not imply winning the overall comparison. For example:

• one strategy may have the highest Stability Score,
• another may demonstrate the strongest Edge Reliability,
• another may achieve the highest Behavioural Consistency.

This section helps identify specialist strengths that may be hidden behind the overall ranking.

The Executive Verdict summarises the comparison in narrative form. Rather than presenting individual metrics, it explains why the comparison produced its final outcome. It consists of five parts.

Identifies the strategy with the strongest overall structural profile. This conclusion is derived from the Composite Rating together with the underlying analytical evidence. It answers a single question: “Which strategy demonstrates the strongest overall analytical profile?”

Not every metric contributes equally to the final distinction between strategies. This section identifies the analytical dimensions that created the largest separation between the highest-ranked strategies. Typical separation factors include:

• Behavioural Consistency
• Stability
• Followability
• Edge Reliability
• Survivability

Rather than listing every difference, BetMirror highlights only those with the greatest analytical importance.

A strategy may not rank first overall while still demonstrating exceptional strength in a particular analytical dimension. This section recognises those specialist capabilities. Examples include:

• strongest Stability
• strongest execution quality
• strongest behavioural discipline
• strongest survivability

These recognitions help distinguish broad structural strength from specialised excellence.

No strategy is perfect. Many successful betting approaches exchange strength in one area for weakness in another. This section explains the principal trade-offs observed between the leading strategies. For example, one strategy may demonstrate stronger behavioural consistency while another exhibits superior execution quality. Understanding these trade-offs often provides more insight than simply comparing rankings.

The Closing Summary combines the preceding observations into a concise conclusion. Rather than repeating scores, it explains the overall relationship between the compared strategies and identifies the strongest structural alternative within the comparison.

Each Strategy Profile represents the exact same analytical profile that would be produced on the Evaluate page. Compare does not generate a second version of the analysis. It simply displays the completed profile for each uploaded strategy alongside the others. Each profile includes the core analytical dimensions together with the engine's interpretation of that strategy. The values shown here are identical to those produced elsewhere in BetMirror whenever the same betting history is analysed.

The Side-by-side Comparison table presents every shared analytical metric in a single consolidated view. Rather than navigating between multiple individual evaluations, the table allows each strategy to be examined across identical analytical dimensions. Each row represents one analytical concept. Each column represents one strategy. This format makes it possible to identify strengths, weaknesses and structural trade-offs immediately. The comparison is entirely descriptive. It does not alter the underlying analytical values.

For every analytical dimension, BetMirror identifies the strongest performer. The Winner column simply highlights which strategy achieved the strongest reading for that particular metric. Different metrics naturally produce different winners. For example:

• one strategy may demonstrate the strongest Stability,
• another may produce the highest Edge Reliability,
• another may achieve the highest Behavioural Consistency.

This is expected. A strategy can dominate one dimension while another demonstrates a stronger overall structural profile. When multiple strategies produce equivalent analytical classifications, BetMirror displays a shared winner rather than forcing an artificial distinction.

The purpose of the Side-by-side Comparison is not to identify the highest numbers. Instead, it reveals how different strategies achieve their results. Two strategies with similar Composite Ratings may reach those ratings through completely different behavioural characteristics. Likewise, a strategy with a lower overall ranking may still represent the strongest specialist in a particular analytical dimension. The table should therefore be interpreted as a structural comparison rather than a performance leaderboard.

Two betting strategies can produce similar financial results while operating in fundamentally different ways. The Behavioural Comparison section explains whether the compared strategies behave similarly or whether they arrive at their results through different behavioural structures. Unlike the Overall Ranking, this section focuses on behaviour rather than analytical strength. Its purpose is to identify relationships between strategies. Strategies may exhibit:

• highly similar behavioural structures,
• partially overlapping behaviour,
• complementary behaviour,
• fundamentally different operating profiles.

Behavioural similarity is particularly valuable when evaluating multiple betting systems for use within the same portfolio. Strategies that behave differently often provide greater diversification than strategies that repeatedly express the same behavioural characteristics. Behavioural similarity therefore measures structural resemblance rather than betting performance.

The Hall of Fame recognises exceptional performance within individual analytical categories. Unlike the Overall Ranking, these awards are not intended to identify the best overall strategy. Instead, they acknowledge the strongest performer in each major analytical dimension. Examples include:

Each award highlights a different aspect of analytical excellence.

A strategy may receive several awards, one award, or none at all.

Likewise, the Overall Champion is not guaranteed to win every category.

The Hall of Fame exists to identify specialist strengths that might otherwise remain hidden inside the broader analytical profile.

Most strategies excel in certain areas while making compromises in others.

The Most Balanced Strategy award recognises the strategy demonstrating the strongest overall balance across the major analytical dimensions.

This award should not be interpreted as meaning the strategy is perfect.

Instead, it indicates that, within the compared group, it exhibits the most even structural profile across stability, evidence quality and behavioural consistency.

Structural Similarity measures how closely two strategies resemble one another from a behavioural perspective.

This comparison is based on analytical characteristics rather than financial outcomes.

For every pair of strategies, BetMirror evaluates the degree of similarity across the shared analytical dimensions.

The result is expressed as a similarity percentage together with a breakdown of:

• Matching dimensions
• Differing dimensions

This allows users to understand not only how similar two strategies are, but also why.

High similarity suggests that two strategies operate through broadly comparable behavioural structures.

Although they may differ in profitability or sample size, they rely on similar underlying characteristics.

Low similarity suggests that the strategies reach their outcomes through substantially different behavioural mechanisms.

From a portfolio perspective, lower similarity generally indicates greater diversification potential.

Strategies with complementary behavioural structures may reduce concentration risk compared with multiple strategies expressing the same behavioural profile. Structural Similarity should therefore be interpreted as a measure of behavioural overlap rather than expected financial correlation.

Compare is designed for analytical decision support. Typical use cases include:

• comparing multiple tipsters before following one,
• comparing personal betting performance across seasons,
• evaluating different betting models,
• comparing leagues or market specialisations,
• analysing changes after modifying a betting strategy,
• selecting complementary strategies for a betting portfolio.

The purpose of Compare is not to predict future profitability. Instead, it provides a consistent framework for understanding how strategies differ structurally and where each one demonstrates its greatest strengths.

Why doesn't the highest CLV strategy always rank first?

The Overall Ranking is based on the Composite Rating, which combines multiple analytical dimensions. CLV represents only one component of the overall evaluation.

Can two strategies have the same Behavioural Identity?

Yes. Behavioural Identity describes structural behaviour rather than uniqueness. Different strategies may legitimately share the same behavioural classification if they exhibit similar behavioural characteristics.

Can a lower-ranked strategy win individual categories?

Yes. Overall Ranking reflects the complete analytical profile, while individual categories recognise specialist strengths within specific dimensions.

Does Compare recalculate my analysis?

No. Every strategy is analysed once by the shared analytical engine. Compare only consumes those completed analytical results and organises them into a comparative framework.

Can I compare strategies with different sample sizes?

Yes. Strategies do not need to contain the same number of bets. However, larger and more complete datasets generally produce higher analytical confidence than smaller samples.

Does Compare predict which strategy will perform best in the future?

No. Compare evaluates historical betting behaviour and structural characteristics. It identifies strengths, weaknesses and behavioural differences, but it does not forecast future betting performance or recommend selections.
